Into the quiet
of the forest

A slow nature film from Torpanäset near Hofsnäs, on the shores of Lake Åsunden in Västra Götaland, Sweden. Sunlight filters through the forest canopy, creating shifting patterns of light and shadow across the ground. Birds call from the trees, insects pass through the scene, and the mostly still air brings only gentle movement to the leaves.

Beyond the trees, Lake Åsunden glimmers in the background, adding light and distance to the forest landscape. The film was recorded on location near Hofsnäs and Torpa Stenhus with real natural sound, without music, talking or synthetic ambience.
